Jen is our amazing spa manager, overseeing all operations at The Parkside Spa. Her favourite treatment to recommend to clients is the Parkside Blend package! One wellness tip Jen loves to share is the importance of taking time for yourself. Her favourite ways to do so are enjoying a nature walk along the ocean, experiencing a new exercise class, and staying hydrated! A fun fact about Jen is that she was a professional ballet dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet!

Meet Ember! Joining the Parkside Spa team in March, 2024, Ember is our amazing spa administrator. Pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Psychology brought her to Victoria, and she loves how nearly everywhere you go around the city, you are in close proximity to the beach!

Kayla joined The Parkside Spa team in 2023 as our spa coordinator. Her favourite treatments to recommend are the variety of facials offered at the spa as our talented team has to ability to customize each treatment and offer suggestions on what to introduce into your at-home routine. In her off time, Kayla enjoys exploring the many beautiful beaches on Vancouver Island! If she could recommend one product line, it would be the Eminence Organic Strawberry Rhubarb line.

Say hello to Kiara, one of our wonderful spa coordinators. You’ll have the pleasure of meeting Kiara when you check in for your treatment at The Parkside Spa, where her incredible customer service sets the stage for a day of relaxation. If you’re looking for product recommendations, Kiara shares that the Nezza Naturals Lemongrass Bar Soap is not something to skip over! One wellness tip she shares is the importance of body and mind connection to live a balanced life.

Emily has been working at the Parkside Spa since 2022. As a registered massage therapist, she provides a client-centred approach that is strictly tailored to the client’s needs and wants. Her favourite treatment to give is relaxation massages to the neck and upper back because it can be incredibly beneficial for her clients. Emily also enjoys experimenting with different techniques and incorporating Eminence products into her treatments. Her favourite product carried at The Parkside Spa is the Eminence Organic Skin Care Bamboo Firming Fluid. During her off time, Emily enjoys exploring new hiking trails and spending time near the ocean!

Nika joined The Parkside Spa in February 2023 and is one of our wonderful massage practitioners. During treatments, Nika loves introducing areas of massage that clients may not have previously experienced such as food, hand and scalp massage. If she could recommend one product carried at The Parkside Spa, it would be the Eminence Organic Stone Crop body lotion for its fabulous moisturizing effects. One wellness tip Nika hopes everyone remembers is the importance of caring for your joints. “Motion is lotion” she shares, so make sure you are taking part in a movement that is fun and enjoyable.

The Parkside Spa had the pleasure of welcoming Miriam to the team in February 2023. As a massage practitioner, she specializes in relaxation and mind/body wellness. Her favourite treatment to give is the 90-minute relaxation massage, as she loves how the longer time frame allows clients to fully let go of stress and reset their nervous system. In her off time, Miriam loves to take her kids and dogs for walks through nature.

Meet Angela, one of our amazing estheticians and spa therapists. Angela joined The Parkside Spa team in March of 2023 and specializes in providing outstanding facials. She loves being able to educate clients on the benefits of Eminence Organics Skincare line while tailoring products to each individual's needs. On her off time, Angela enjoys exploring Victoria’s vibrant restaurant scene, with her favourite indulging spot being Boom + Batten!

Meet Madisen, one of our amazing spa therapists who joined our team in April 2023. Madisen’s treatment specialty is facials, where she works closely with her clients to target problematic skin concerns such as psoriasis, eczema and rosacea. She loves having the opportunity to help ease skin flare-ups all while providing a relaxing experience. During her off time, Madisen loves to explore Downtown Victoria and grow her passion for health and fitness!

Jemilla joined The Parkside Spa in October 2024, bringing her passion for personalized skincare and wellness. Specializing in custom facials, she creates calming, restorative experiences that leave clients refreshed and glowing. Her favorite products, the Superfood Enzymes line, gently support the skin’s natural renewal for a radiant complexion. A graduate of Blanche Macdonald’s global esthetics program, Jemilla is now pursuing studies at the University of Victoria, with plans to transition into business. This unique blend of skills enhances her understanding of both client care and the spa industry. New to Victoria, she’s enjoying exploring local restaurants, coffee shops, and hiking trails. Her wellness philosophy? Taking time for yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s essential for overall well-being. Jemilla looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and helping them achieve their best glow at The Parkside Spa.
